Friend, I have a question for you.
Have you said yes to the God who wants your whole heart?
If not, it is not too late.
God waits at the doors of our hearts every day, desiring for every closed door, window, nook and cranny to be cast open – FULLY SURRENDERED TO HIM.
It isn’t always an easy journey, but it’s the most worthwhile pursuit we can ever take in life.
You see, when we say yes to giving God our heart, he does miraculous things to it. Contrary to what most of us have believed, God isn’t bad, or some kind of judge or thief who is waiting to take our freedom, our joy, etc.
He is good. He wants us to taste that goodness on a deep level, in the deepest confines of our heart.
God wants us to live abundantly.
He wants to be the #1 of our heart, because He loves us, and He knows that only with Him can we begin to fully taste the beautiful marrow of the wonderful life He’s called us to.
So, I ask you, friend, Have you said yes to the God who wants your whole heart?
If not, let today be your day of yes. The day you tell the Father who loves you, “take it, Lord. Take my heart, all that I am. And do what you will with it.”
Then, sit back, let go, and let him take you for a ride. It’s a journey that is worth it.
You see, our hearts are meant to be God’s dwelling place – but we tend to let other things fill it up instead, things that leave us wanting, sad, angry, unfulfilled. God says to us: let me come in and transform everything! Let me open the windows, air out the curtains, dust the countertops, mend the gaps, fix what’s broken, and make this a beautiful dwelling where we can live together. With His wonderful love, He pours into us, filling the house up, and making our heart one full of joy.
It’s not an overnight miracle, but a steady, worthy journey, where we enter into kinship, friendship, and deep loving intimacy with the God who created us.
And when we begin to do this, we open ourselves to new heights. We begin to play a different game, at a higher level. Before, we were hanging out in a meager, modest shack. With God as the #1 guest of our heart, we’ve moved onto royal ground. And he is demolishing the shack of our heart, rebuilding it into a castle.
So, friend, I ask you: Have you said yes to the God who wants your whole heart?
It is never too late. Make today be your YES day.
We here at little with great love are in love with the restoration journey, because we are so grateful to God for continuously restoring and healing our hearts. We’ve tasted the fruits of our yes and can tell you – it is worth it.
If there is anything we can do to support you on your journey, to encourage your yes, we are here. Let us know! In the meantime, we are always praying for you and your restoration journey.
