Hearing God’s voice is amazing. According to the Old Testament, God’s voice can be heard in the form of a whisper. God’s voice was not found in an earthquake or a fire but in a small whisper (1 Kings 19:12).
Today, we have the Holy Spirit who speaks to our hearts if we can learn to be still! The Holy Spirit is our Advocate, our Helper, and our Comforter. Isn’t that fantastic news?! We have the opportunity to ask God our Father questions and the Holy Spirit will lead us and guide us to Truth through the Word of God and the Sacraments. Kelli shares a few thoughts on her journey with learning to hear God’s voice, as well as a few tips she picked up along the way. If you have thoughts or suggestions, we hope you share them with us. We can all learn from each other.
Kelli also shares a few resources she has found to be helpful. You can find the daily Mass readings at https://bible.usccb.org/readings/calendar.
Also, Kelli recently attended the Encounter School of Ministry online. This has been a valuable resource to her to hear God’s voice in her own life.
