This First Station of the Cross print and accompanying poem is part of the FREE Lent eBook: Journey the Stations of the Cross in Art and Poetry featuring all Fourteen Stations of the Cross by Caitlyn Pszonka for download. Please join us this Lent 2022, or whenever you are called, as we too “walk” this journey with Christ, spiritually journeying alongside Him, allowing ourselves to enter into His Passion with truly grateful, reflective hearts. The Stations of the Cross are a Catholic devotion comprised of a series of fourteen images with prayers of Christ’s journey to the cross, commonly prayed on Fridays during Lent, and throughout the year, to commemorate Christ’s Crucifixion on Good Friday. There will also be a video of the art displayed in a Church with poetry readings of the Stations by the artist and author available at the beginning of Lent on the Little With Great Love YouTube channel.
