*These featured verses reportedly were written on the wall of Mother Teresa’s home for children in Calcutta, India. Although widely attributed to her, some sources claim that the words were written on the wall in Mother Teresa’s room. Either way, they’re associated with Mother Teresa and the Missionaries of Charity as the embody their approach to spirituality and service. While they seem to be based on “The Paradoxical Commandments” originally by Dr. Kent Keith, the majority of the second half was re-written in a more spiritual way.
