St. Michael Chaplet + Incense Set Details:
-
The Chaplet of St. Michael the Archangel is a Catholic devotion honoring St. Michael and the nine Choirs of Angels as revealed to a Portuguese Carmelite nun, Servant of God Antónia d’Astónaco, in the 18th century. St. Michael promised that those who faithfully recite it would receive his protection and the assistance of the angelic choirs in life and at death. These chaplets are handmade with natural stones, available in four colors. At the base of the chaplet is an Italian medal with St. Michael on the front and a Guardian Angel on the back, with nine smaller replicas of that same medal to designate the nine salutations in honor of the nine Choirs of Angels. The centerpiece medal is a shield with “St. Michael, protect us,” inscribed on the front, and “Defend Us in Battle,” on the back.

1 pack St. Michael 100% Natural Resin Incense, 1-oz. Resin incense is a natural aromatic substance derived from natural resin gums, herbs and other botanicals, and has been used worldwide for thousands of years. Unlike manufactured incense sticks, natural resin offers a deeper, richer, and often longer-lasting fragrance. A small pinch of resin can burn for hours! Employing our senses of smell and sight, burning incense creates a sacred space that connects our worship on earth with heaven and draws us into prayer and unity with God. For more why Catholics burn incense, watch “The Hidden Meaning of Incense w/ Fr. Boniface Hicks” video on Pints with Aquinas.
