Description
The Chaplet of St. Therese of Lisieux is a short, powerful Catholic devotion to honor our patroness, St. Therese (the Little Flower). Watch this short video to learn more about this chaplet and saint. The chaplet features 24 beads representing her 24 years of life, each with a “Glory Be” to thank God for her, plus an opening prayer to her for intercession, often prayed as a 9 or 24-day novena, with promises of receiving a mystical rose as a sign of answered prayers.
“Trust and trust alone should lead us to love.” — St. Thérèse of Lisieux 🌹
How to Pray the Chaplet of St. Thérèse of Lisieux:
- Holding the Medal, Begin: Make the Sign of the Cross.
- On the First Bead: Recite the invocation: “Saint Thérèse of the Infant Jesus, Patroness of Missions, pray for us.”
- On the 24 Beads: On each of the 24 beads, pray one “Glory Be” (Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen.), to honour the Holy Trinity in thanksgiving for giving us the Little Saint who lived in this world for only 24 years.
- Closing Prayer: Recite the closing prayer: “St. Therese, the Little Flower, please pick me a rose from the Heavenly Garden and send it to me with a message of love. Ask God to grant me the favor I thee implore, and tell Him I will love Him each day more and more. Amen.”
