Our discipleship team is a group of women on a journey towards restoration in their hearts, homes, and health. May our lives reveal how little with great love things can impact our families and communities.

Our Mission

To accompany pilgrims through the mountains and valleys of their journeys, bringing hope, healing, and restoration in Christ by sharing our stories, gifts, and serving in the “Little Way” with great love.

This week let’s strive to live The Little Way, the spirituality of St. Thérèse of Lisieux (one of our patronesses, and whose feast day we celebrated yesterday!) by thanking God for the little blessings He gives us. Whether that be enjoyable weather, good music, a hug from a loved one, or any other small, ordinary thing that brings us joy this week.

Let’s recognize that every gift, big or small, comes from Our Father in Heaven. The more grateful we become, the more we notice God’s love in our lives and the more our love for Him grows.

Jesus reminds us today that actions speak louder than words and what defines us is not our beginning but our ending. If God asks us to work, and we resist at first, it’s okay. It's with God's grace that we can change our ways and do as He asks in the end, like the first son in today’s Gospel.

So, let’s pray for the grace to imitate Jesus, Who says yes to the Father’s will and follows through on His obedience in action “to the point of death” as St. Paul writes to the Philippians.
