To accompany pilgrims through the mountains and valleys of their journeys, bringing hope, healing, and restoration in Christ by sharing our stories, gifts, and serving in the “Little Way” with great love.

This is a hard topic, friends! June is liturgically when Catholics honor the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It’s also pride month.

It’s one thing as Christians & Catholics for us to spread the devotion and invite others to experience the love of Christ. That’s what the Lord asked us to do. Yet there’s been a lot of talk about “reclaiming” it, trying to take something back from others. We must approach this with great care, because after all, Christ is One who redeems, and His love bring unity.

On this Restoration Wednesday, Our Founder speaks very simply + respectfully on these sensitive topics, always in deference to the call of Christ to LOVE. We love how the Carmelites have shared it, to “reclaim hope” and are hosting a Sacred Heart Celebration. Citing: “It is not by sidestepping or fleeing from suffering that we are healed, but rather by our capacity for accepting it, maturing through it, and finding meaning through union with Christ, who suffered from infinite love.” -Pope Benedict XVI

Our hope is to infuse love into this online conversation. Love is different than tolerance. And love does not mean agreeing with someone’s choices. Our prayer is for the love of Christ to be extended and experienced by all. Because the Lord Himself revealed “My Divine Heart is so inflamed with love for men, and for thee in particular that, being unable any longer to contain within Itself the flames of Its burning Charity.”
