We Are Grateful

In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”

-1 THESSALONIANS 5:18

2020 has been a year of many challenges. Yet in all circumstances, we are called to give thanks. Cultivating a grateful heart is like exercising any other muscle—the more we do it, the stronger it becomes.

Science shows that being grateful helps us “experience more positive emotions such as optimism, enthusiasm, love, joy, and happiness, while protecting us from the destructive emotions of envy, greed, bitterness, and resentment” (NJlifehacks). While gratitude doesn’t remove challenges, it does adjust our perspective, hopefully, fix our gaze back on Christ, and improve our overall well-being.

For November, our team has been praying about and preparing ways to spread gratitude. If you missed it, there’s still time to download our Gratitude Pack with 40+ downloads. Available by donation, all proceeds will go to support those in great need in southern Louisiana through the Vermilion Women’s Resource Center. You can watch & learn more here, but your donations help provide meals, diapers, wipes, food, clothing, supplies, and even parenting classes – so thanks for your generosity!

Another way we’re sharing gratitude is with our 1st ever team video! From our hearts to yours, each of us wanted to personally share some things that we are grateful for this year.

We are so grateful for you.
